인공지능학과

야마오카 야스요 교수는 동경약학대학교(학사), 동경대학교(석사), 사이타마대학교(박사)에서 학위를 받았으며, 포항공과대학교에서 박사후연구원 및 연구교수, 이후 서울대학교 연구교수를 거쳐, 2021년 3월에 가톨릭대학교 생명공학과 조교수로 임용되었다. 세포생물학과 분자생문학을 기반으로 식물 지질 대사와 기능 해석, 스트레스 내성 메커니즘 해석을 통해 식물의 활용 방안을 높이는 연구를 수행 중이다. 이를 위해 모델 식물인 애기 장대, 모델 미세조류인 클라미도모나스를 기반으로 기초연구를 수행하며, 이를 개구리밥 및 클로렐라에 적용하여 실용화를 검토하고 있다. 한국식물학회(KSPB), 한국미생물 생명공학회(KMB), 국제생물지질학회(SPL), 미국식물생리학회 (ASPB), 일본식물생리학회(JSPP), 일본식물지절학연구회(JAPLR)에서 정회원, 아시아-태평양 식물 지질학회(ASPL) 위원으로 활동 중이다.

Professor Yasuyo Yamaoka is an assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology at the Catholic University of Korea. She earned her bachelor's degree from Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences (Tokyo, Japan), followed by a master's degree from The University of Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan). Later, she completed her doctoral studies at Saitama University (Saitama, Japan) after a change in her supervising professor's position. Subsequently, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher and research professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology (Pohang, Korea), then served as a research professor at Seoul National University (Seoul, Korea) before joining the Catholic University of Korea as an assistant professor in 2021. Professor Yamaoka's research focuses on understanding plant lipid metabolism and function using cellular and molecular biology techniques. She aims to expand the applications of plant biotechnology for various uses. Her lab collaborates internationally with countries such as Japan, the United States, and France, and provides student education to participate in global research activities. Currently, she is an active member of several professional societies, including the Korean Society of Plant Biologists (KSPB), Korean Society for Microbiology and Biotechnology (KMB), International Symposium on Plant Lipids (ISPL), American Society of Plant Biologists 

정정민 교수는 University of Auckland (New Zealand)와 강원대학교에서 학사, 석/박사 학위를 받았으며, University of Michigan (USA)에서  박사후연구원으로 재직 후,  2021년 3월부터 가톨릭대학교 생명공학과에서 조교수로 재직 중에 있다. Cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) 및 Cryo-electron tomography (Cryo-ET)를 비롯한 첨단 바이오이미징 기술을 활용하여 생명체 내 주요 고분자의 구조와 기능에 대한 연구를 수행 중이다. 특히 다제내성 감염성 질환에 대한 새로운 치료제 및 백신 개발에 필요한 기초 연구를 진행 중이며, 바이오이미징 전산처리에 접목 가능한 딥러닝 알고리즘 플랫폼 개발 또한 추진 중에 있다. Biophysical Society (USA), Microscopy Society of America (USA), 한국구조생물학회(KSSB), 한국현미경학회(KSM), 한국생명공학회(KSBB), 한국생화학분자생물학회(KSBMB), 한국분자세포생물학회(KSMCB)의 정회원이며, 한국 Cryo-EM 사용자 협회(KOCUA)의 운영위원, 한국단백질과학회(KSPS)의 집행위원, 그리고 한국미생물생명공학회(KMB)의 이사회 위원으로 활동하며 한국 및 글로벌 생명공학 발전에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

Professor Jeong Min Chung received his bachelor's and master's/Ph.D. degrees from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) and Kangwon National University. After serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan (USA), he has been an assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology at the Catholic University of Korea since March 2021. He is conducting research on the structure and function of major macromolecules within living organisms using advanced bioimaging technologies, including Cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) and Cryo-electron tomography (Cryo-ET). In particular, he is working on foundational research necessary for the development of new therapeutics and vaccines for multi-drug resistant infectious diseases and is also developing a deep learning algorithm platform that can be integrated with bioimaging computational processing. 

서울대학교 수학교육과를 졸업하여 동 대학원 수리과학부에서 석사, 박사학위를 취득했다. 주요 연구 분야는 수치해석, 전산 유체역학, 수학적 최적화, 인공지능 및 산업응용수학등이며, 총 15여편의 논문을 SCI급 국제학술지에 발표하였다. 한국산업응용수학회(KSIAM), 대한수학회(KMS), 한국전산유체공학회(KSCFE)회원으로 활동 중이며, 현재 한국산업응용수학회(KSIAM)에서 총무이사를 역임하고 있다. 

연세대학교 심리학과에서 학부와 석사를 마치고, 성균관의대 삼성서울병원 정신건강의학과에서 임상심리레지던트로 일했으며, 임상심리전문가(한국심리학회), 정신건강임상심리사 1급(보건복지부) 자격을 갖고 있다. 2010년 연세대학교에서 사회불안의 인지편향을 주제로 박사학위를 받았고, 경일대학교 전임강사, 연세대학교 조교수로 일했으며, 2015년부터 가톨릭대학교 심리학과 교수로 일하고 있다. 불안장애, 특히 사회불안장애와 섭식장애의 인지편향에 관심을 갖고 연구하고 있다. 여러 정신병리 현상이 부정 정서 자극에 대한 주의 편향, 외부 자극을 부정적으로 해석하는 편향, 신호탐지이론을 적용한 부정 정서에 대한 민감성과 반응 편향, 그리고 정서 자극의 평균 추론 편향을 주로 연구하고 있다. 인지편향을 수정하는 치료적 개입에도 관심을 갖고 있다. 한국임상심리학회와 한국심리학회에서 이사직을 여러 차례 역임한 바 있다. 현재 학부에서는 이상심리학, 임상심리학, 스트레스와 적응, 남성과 여성의 심리학, 대학원에서는 정신병리학을 강의하고 있다.  

After completing my undergraduate and master's degrees in psychology at Yonsei University, I worked as a clinical psychology resident at Samsung Seoul Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. I hold a Certified Clinical Psychologist (Korean Psychological Association) and Clinical Psychologist (Ministry of Health and Welfare). In 2010, I obtained a Ph.D. from Yonsei University with a dissertation on cognitive biases in social anxiety. I have served as an assistant professor at Kyungil University and Yonsei University. Since 2015, I have worked as a professor in the Department of Psychology at the Catholic University of Korea. My research interests focus on cognitive biases in anxiety disorders, particularly social anxiety disorder and eating disorders. I investigate psychopathological phenomena such as attentional biases toward negative emotional stimuli, biased interpretation of external stimuli, sensitivity and response biases to negative emotional stimuli applying signal detection theory, and biased ensemble coding of emotional stimuli. I am also interested in therapeutic interventions aimed at modifying cognitive biases. I have held various positions as a board member of the Korean Clinical Psychology Association and the Korean Psychological Association. 

Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) 연구를 수행하며, 상세 연구방법으로는 체계적 문헌고찰 및 네트워크 메타분석, 약물경제성평가, 빅데이터 분석연구가 있다. 그 외에도 방문약료 사업, 마약으로 인한 기소유예자 교육과 같은 약사 중재에 대한 성과에 대한 연구도 수행중이다. 한국보건사회약료경영학회, 한국보건의료기술평가학회, 한국약사커뮤니케이션과 커뮤니티케어학회의 임원으로 활동중이다.

Dr.Sun-Kyeong Park is interested in Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), employing methodologies such as systematic literature reviews and network meta-analyses, pharmacoeconomics, and big-data analysis studies. Additionally, she has conducted research on the outcomes of pharmacist interventions (e.g., pharmacist home-visit service and diversion programs).

박용일 교수는 미국 플로리다대학교(University of Florida)의 Microbiology and Cell Science학과에서 박사학위(Ph.D.), 1997년부터 Johns Hopkins University에서 박사후연구원(Post-doc) 및 선임연구원(Associate Research Scientist)으로 근무. 1999년부터 한국생명공학연구원(KRIBB) 객원선임연구원으로 근무, 2002년부터 가톨릭대학교 생명공학과에서 조교수, 부교수, 정교수로 근무하면서 학과장, LINC 사업단 부단장, 경기도 GRRC 센터 (생체의약선도분자연구센터) 센터장 등으로 활동하였음. 2020년부터 의생명과학과에서 학과장, 가톨릭대학교 성심 연구처장과 산학협력단장, BK21-FOUR 사업단장을 역임하였음. 연구 관심사는 주로 비만, 당뇨, 암, 골다공증 등 대사성질환과 면역, 항산화, 피부노화, 염증성장질환(IBD) 등에 대한 천연물 기반 신규 치료제 및 건강기능성 소재 개발 분야임. SCIE 국제학술지 110여편, KCI 국내학술지 40여편, 70여건의 특허를 출원 또는 등록하였고, 체코 프라하 소재 대학, 슬로바키아 과학기술원 연구진 등과 국제공동연구를 활발히 수행하고 있으며, 한국당과학회 회장, 아시아 당과학회 운영위원, 한국균학회 부회장, 이사 및 감사로 활동하였으며, 현재 한국신약개발연구조합의 자문교수로 활동 중임.

Prof. Park earned his Ph.D. in 1996 from the Dept. of Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida. He continued his research experience as a Post-doc and Associate Research Scientist at the Johns Hopkins University during 1997~1999 and the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB) as a visiting senior researcher during 1999~2001. He started his professorship at the Dept. of Biotechnology, The Catholic University of Korea from 2002. Since 2020, he has been a full professor of the Dept. of Medical and Biological Sciences and currently serves as the President of CUK Songsim Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and Songsim Office of Research Affairs. His research has focused mainly on the development of natural compound-based therapeutics and health beneficial functional biomaterials for metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer, with the publication of approximately 110 SCI and 42 KCI peer-reviewed research papers and over 70 patents pending and/or registered. His research group has actively collaborated for over 15 years with foreign research groups in Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc. He served as the President of the Korean Society for Glycoscience and Glycotechnology and Vice President of The Korean Society of Mycology, and currently serves as an advisory board member for the Korea Drug Research Association.
